Ballet Teacher

Your main responsibility will be to share your passion for teaching and inspiring children in classical ballet techniques. As a Ballet Teacher, you will be responsible for co-creating and delivering engaging and dynamic classes that foster a love of dance in your young students. You may be invited to choreograph and participate in production development and delivery that inspires our students to not only be great people but great performers. You must have experience supporting young people develop their natural gifts and abilities, so they are confident in front of their audiences. - Bachelor’s degree in Dance or a related field is preferred. Equivalent professional experience also considered.
- 5+ years prior experience teaching ballet to children is required.

We’ve inspired thousands of young people coast to coast, and our interns work directly alongside our creative and leadership teams to shape the future of our company. Your main responsibility will be to immerse yourself in the day-to-day operations of a successful performing arts organization. Whether your focus is dance pedagogy, production design, or arts management, you will co-create and support engaging projects that foster a love of theatre and dance in our community. You will be invited to participate deeply in production development, rehearsal coordination, or administrative strategy for our annual youth Nutcracker, spring productions, and summer programs. You must have a desire to develop your professional gifts, build your portfolio, and gain confidence as an arts professional.
